Another Milestone in Global Expansion | Multiway Robotics Empowers Warehouse Upgrades for Malaysian Manufacturing Enterprises
Case Introduction
With the accelerated restructuring of the global manufacturing supply chain, more and more Chinese enterprises are establishing production bases in Southeast Asia, putting forward higher requirements for the automation and digitalization of warehousing and logistics.
In a large-scale manufacturing warehousing project in Malaysia, Multiway Robotics provides customers with an integrated solution covering intelligent logistics robots, WMS Warehouse Management System and RCS Robot Scheduling System, helping customers build a modern intelligent warehousing system and achieve a comprehensive improvement in warehousing operation efficiency and management level.
Project Background
Multiway Robotics
With the continuous expansion of business scale, the customer's warehousing scenario faces challenges such as an increase in the number of storage locations, a wide variety of materials, and high frequency of inbound and outbound operations.
The project plans more than 5,000 shelf storage locations, covering multiple business areas including raw material warehouse, finished product warehouse, material preparation area and isolation warehouse. Facing the growing logistics demand, the customer hopes to further improve warehousing space utilization, logistics circulation efficiency and inventory management level through automation upgrades, providing support for the stable operation of the production base.

Multiway Solution
Multiway Robotics
In response to the customer's demand for warehousing and logistics automation upgrade, Multiway Robotics has created an integrated software and hardware solution covering robotic equipment and digital systems based on the on-site business processes and warehousing layout characteristics, realizing the automated operation of business processes such as raw material inbound, raw material outbound, finished product inbound, finished product outbound and defective product return.
01. Hardware Products: Collaborative Operation of K16 × X20 × SL14
The project adopts the collaborative operation of MW-K16 Three-way Fork Automated Forklift, X20 Pallet Automated Forklift and Stacker Automated Forklift MW-SL14 to meet the needs of different scenarios such as high-level storage, material handling and pallet management.
MW-K16 Three-way Fork Automated Forklift undertakes high-level access tasks in the shelf area, with a lifting height of up to 9m, and completes automatic access operations of high-level shelves in 1750mm narrow aisles, fully meeting the high-density warehousing demand of 5,000+ storage locations in the project, improving warehousing space utilization while achieving efficient and accurate access operations.

X20 Pallet Automated Forklift is responsible for automatic transportation between the raw material waiting for inbound area, finished product waiting for inbound area, picking area, prepared material temporary storage area and finished product waiting for outbound area, realizing efficient circulation of logistics in the warehouse.

MW-SL14 Stacker Automated Forklift is responsible for empty pallet unstacking, stacking and transfer operations, further improving the automation level of warehousing and logistics.

At the same time, all automated forklifts are equipped with multiple safety protection devices such as obstacle avoidance radar, anti-collision edges, emergency stop buttons, sound and light alarms and width indicator lights, and support automatic charging, realizing stable and continuous operation 7×24 hours a day.
02. Software Systems: WMS Warehouse Management System × RCS Robot Scheduling System
Combined with the customer's high-frequency logistics demand, the project simultaneously deploys the independently developed WMS Warehouse Management System and RCS Robot Scheduling System by Multiway Robotics.
WMS Warehouse Management System visually displays storage locations, inventory and cargo status; intelligently allocates storage locations according to cargo attributes to improve warehousing space utilization; automatically generates inbound and outbound tasks and links with robots for execution; at the same time, it connects with ERP and UMS systems to realize real-time synchronization of orders, batches and inventory information.

RCS Robot Scheduling System monitors the robot position, task status and equipment operation in real time; automatically plans the optimal path and dynamically avoids obstacles, realizing multi-robot collaborative operation; supports intelligent task scheduling and automatic charging management to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the system.

Through the deep integration of software systems and robotic equipment, the unified management of logistics, information flow and data flow is realized, comprehensively improving warehousing operation efficiency and management level.
