On-Site Highlights | Multiway Robotics Showcases at LTT International Logistics Exhibition 2026, Featuring Live Demonstrations of Autonomous Forklifts and Intelligent Logistics Systems

On September 8, Logis-Tech Tokyo 2026, the International Logistics Exhibition in Japan, officially opened at Tokyo Big Sight.

As one of Japan’s major professional exhibitions for the logistics industry, the event brings together numerous companies specializing in logistics equipment, automation systems, and digital technologies. During the exhibition, Multiway Robotics showcased a range of autonomous forklift solutions, including the OT15 omnidirectional pallet-handling autonomous forklift, MW-O15 omnidirectional side-loading autonomous forklift, and MW-Q20 counterbalanced autonomous forklift for truck cargo compartments, together with its intelligent logistics software systems.

Through live demonstrations across multiple application scenarios and presentations of its software systems, Multiway Robotics highlighted the capabilities of robotic technologies in horizontal material handling, long-material handling, autonomous loading and unloading, multi-vehicle coordination, and other logistics applications.

Solution for Horizontal Material Handling

OT15 Omnidirectional Pallet-Handling Autonomous Forklift

In the pallet-handling demonstration area, the OT15 omnidirectional pallet-handling autonomous forklift showcased its flexible movement capabilities, including spinning and lateral movement, providing a more flexible solution for pallet handling in compact spaces.

Featuring an omnidirectional driving design, the OT15 supports forward, reverse, lateral, diagonal, and in-place rotation, enabling it to operate flexibly in complex environments such as high-density storage areas and narrow aisles. With a rated load capacity of 1,500 kg and an aisle width requirement of 1,750 mm, the OT15 is compatible with grid pallets, three-runner pallets, nine-leg pallets, and non-standard load carriers, meeting diverse pallet-handling requirements.

The OT15 also uses laser navigation and supports mapping, path planning, automatic charging, and autonomous operation. Multiple sensing and safety protection mechanisms further enhance the stability and safety of unmanned material handling.


Solution for Long-Material Handling

MW-O15 Omnidirectional Side-Loading Autonomous Forklift

In the long-material handling demonstration area, the MW-O15 omnidirectional side-loading autonomous forklift showcased its capabilities for handling long materials.

Designed to address the handling and storage requirements of long materials such as profiles, pipes, and sheet materials, the MW-O15 supports multiple movement modes, including forward, reverse, lateral movement, and in-place rotation. It can flexibly navigate complex operating environments while enabling efficient handling and precise storage of long materials.

The vehicle has a rated load capacity of 1,500 kg, with a customized maximum load capacity of up to 8,000 kg and a maximum lifting height of up to 8,000 mm. It combines stable material handling with high-level storage capabilities, improving long-material handling efficiency while making better use of available warehouse space.


Autonomous Loading and Unloading Solution for Truck Cargo Compartments

MW-Q20 Counterbalanced Autonomous Forklift for Truck Cargo Compartments

At the exhibition, the MW-Q20 counterbalanced autonomous forklift for truck cargo compartments performed a live demonstration of autonomous loading and unloading, showcasing the robot’s capabilities in autonomous vehicle-space recognition, path planning, and intelligent loading.

Designed for different vehicle types and complex cargo-compartment environments, the MW-Q20 can automatically identify the dimensions and internal structure of a cargo compartment. Through visual recognition and algorithm-based planning, it dynamically optimizes the loading sequence, handling paths, and cargo placement, enabling adjacent loads to be arranged with zero gaps and further improving cargo-compartment space utilization.

The MW-Q20 features a maximum ramp angle of 8.5° for truck cargo compartments and a rated load capacity of 1,550 kg. It supports various vehicle types, including box trucks, wing-body trucks, and flatbed trucks, adapting to diverse loading and unloading requirements and providing a more flexible autonomous solution for truck cargo operations.

Hardware-Software Integration

Building Intelligent Logistics Solutions

In addition to live autonomous forklift demonstrations, Multiway Robotics also showcased software applications including the Tianyan Vision System, WMS Warehouse Management System, RCS Robot Control System, WCS Warehouse Control System, and Simulation & Digital Twin System, further demonstrating its comprehensive software capabilities spanning robot perception, fleet orchestration, equipment control, and logistics management.

The Tianyan Vision System uses AI-based environmental perception and visual recognition technologies to identify pallet poses, detect cargo information and storage-location status, and provide visual perception and decision-making support for autonomous operations in complex environments.

The WMS Warehouse Management System covers key warehouse processes including receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and inventory management, enabling real-time inventory visibility and refined warehouse management.

The RCS Robot Control System supports the coordinated operation of hundreds of robots across different vehicle types. Through dynamic task allocation and optimized path planning, it improves multi-vehicle coordination efficiency.

The WCS Warehouse Control System can interface with conveyors, elevators, automatic doors, automated storage and retrieval systems, and other equipment, enabling seamless process coordination between robots and on-site facilities.

The Simulation & Digital Twin System uses 3D modeling and real-time mapping to simulate and optimize logistics processes before deployment, while also supporting remote monitoring and intelligent alerts.

Through deep integration of hardware and software, Multiway Robotics goes beyond deploying autonomous forklifts as standalone pieces of equipment. Instead, its solutions integrate robots into customers’ overall logistics processes, creating intelligent logistics solutions that cover perception, orchestration, control, and management. This helps drive the transformation of in-plant logistics from isolated automation toward more efficient, flexible, and system-level intelligent operations.



The Exhibition Continues – Visit Multiway Robotics On Site

On the first day of the exhibition, the Multiway Robotics booth featured continuous live demonstrations and technical exchanges. The on-site demonstrations of multiple autonomous forklifts and intelligent logistics software systems attracted significant attention from industry professionals.

The exhibition is still ongoing. Through live demonstrations of robotic products and software systems, visitors can gain a more direct understanding of how autonomous material-handling technologies can be applied across different logistics scenarios, as well as the new possibilities enabled by hardware-software integration.
